Sinharaja Forest

Sri Lanka's last great lowland rainforest.

Sinharaja is the island's last large stretch of primary tropical rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tall trees close overhead, and the forest hums with life.

Walk with a local naturalist to spot birds found only in Sri Lanka, often moving in noisy mixed flocks, along with tiny frogs, lizards and colourful butterflies.
